Do you consider yourself a religious/spiritual person? If so please pay attention to what I’m about to say. If you aren’t religious, the lessons learned here still are valuable to you. I notice people tend to say thank God when good things happen to them, and when bad things happen they are upset with God. They say, “why me????” and “I didn’t deserve this!” How about you realize that, first of all there are no bad things or good things, there are only things and the meaning you give to them. Second, this struggle/hardship you’re going through is a blessing. Thank God you’re going through all this crap because if you didn’t you would never become the amazing man/woman you’re about to become; because you would have no reason to. If life was always comfortable you would never grow. Start seeing how you can take this current hardship and use it as a tool to further drive your success. You lost everything? Good now you know what you did and can avoid it next time. Learn from your mistakes and become a better person. People say they like surprises. That’s a load of crap. People like the surprises that they want. The ones they don’t want they call problems. When something bad happens it can either help you to grow or destroy you, and you get to decide which of the two will happen.
Your life will not improve by crying about what happened.
The past is over. Stop reliving it day in and day out.
If you live in the past you have no future. Focus on what you can do today for yourself, for your loved ones, and take it one step at a time. Life can either be a monotonous and uneventful prison sentence, or a wondrous adventure that is truly a gift to experience. Only you can decide what it will be for you. Think about it. Every day you wake up and have the blessing of life for another 24 hours. Many people aren’t that lucky. Stop taking for granted your most valuable treasure, your time. Life is what you make of it. If you don’t like what’s happening, you have no one to blame but yourself. The quicker you come to realize this the quicker you can obtain all that life has to offer. However, the more excuses you make as to why life isn’t working out the way you want it to, the deeper you’ll be in that hole you’re in. Find something to be happy about, something to be grateful for, something to strive for and give your life the purpose it so rightly deserves. Start today and who knows what might happen tomorrow. Your future is in your hands. Don’t waste it.
